Answer: Yes.

How do we know? Among other things, we accept the accounts in the Bible of those who
went there. The word, heaven, occurs 582 times in the Bible by the King James count [1]. In
most of these instances, however, heaven is simply another word for sky. Sometimes it means
sky, as in where clouds hang about, sometimes it means sky, as in where the stars reside, and
sometimes it means the home of the saved. The latter is the subject of our question.

Who goes there? Well, those who don't go elsewhere. Specifically, those who go there are
written in the book of life. In fact, the verses that tell us this, are the same verses that offer the
longest description of heaven (see Rev. 21 & 22) [2], the witness of John.

How do we get there? See 'Good News' and 'Jesus 101'.

What's it like? It's very much like the Garden of Eden. The Apostle Paul saw Heaven. He
reports that certain things can't be uttered [3]. John saw Heaven. He reports the following:
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed
away". The tree of life is there. Jesus is there, for heaven's sake. Are you waiting for an
invitation? Consider this your invitation. RSVP by prayer.

If Hell is our worst nightmare, then Heaven is our sweetest dream. In reality, both are beyond
our imagination. It is Eden restored. It is everything 'very good'.

Imagine.
